Kaivan handles cases from intake to settlement, and if necessary, works with the litigation team to ensure that clients transitioning to litigation are fully informed of the process. Kaivan spends much of his time ensuring that any recovery secured for a client is maximized to the client’s benefit. Kaivan comes from a family with many individuals in the medical field, and as such, spent much of his childhood in hospitals and later at patient’s bedside as a volunteer. Kaivan tries to maintain that same bedside manner and be delicate when it comes to clients’ cases and the sensitive issues involved.
Kaivan enjoys being a trusted source of guidance and information to people of all walks of life. There is no typical client, the only thing our clients have in common is that they were placed in a difficult situation on so many levels due to the fault of someone else.
Kaivan was born in Binghamton, New York but now calls Phoenix his home. A crazy fact about Kaivan is that where normally you would have to endure the pain of having 4 wisdom teeth removed, he endured the pain of having 6 wisdom teeth removed. He jokes about how he hopefully retained some of the “wisdom” from those teeth.
After high school Kaivan attended Arizona State University, where he studied business journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Kaivan worked with several Phoenix-based news outlets during his time at Arizona State, giving him an understanding of the local business and legal community. Upon graduation, he moved back to New York and attended Albany Law School in the state capital. Kaivan’s work and training have taken him from counseling underserved populations with several legal aid clinics to practicing real estate and estate planning. Kaivan is admitted to practice in Arizona and New York.
When Kaivan is not busy taking care of the needs of our clients, you can find him out hiking with his dog in the Arizona Wilderness or spending time with his large family. Kaivan is motivated by finding the root cause of a problem and solving it.
Question: If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
If Kaivan could be any animal in the world, he would be an eagle; for the perspective and cheap airfare.
Question: If you were a crayon color, what color would you be and why?
If Kaivan were a crayon, he would be the color red because that’s the color he turns in the Arizona sun.
Question: If a penguin were to walk through your door wearing a sombrero, what would be your first thought?
Global warming is real.
Negretti & Associates is described by Kaivan as: A group of like-minded individuals coming together for the good of our clients.
